COVID-19 has perhaps served to highlight the pivotal role employers play in society and the inherent responsibilty that comes with that. However, delivering a positive societal impact does not come at the expense of business performance - in fact quite the reverse. Companies with strong ESG scores that commit to equitable, fair and sustainable business models out perform those who merely meet their legal obligations.
