Personal Group named one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2026

Posted on 22 May 2026 by Karen Thornley

Today, Personal Group was recognised as one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2026, celebrating the group’s commitment to creating a workplace culture where people feel supported, valued and able to perform at their best.

The national awards recognise organisations leading the way in employee experience, engagement and workplace culture across the UK and the recognition follows a record year of double-digit growth for the business.

For all of us at Innecto Reward Consulting, this achievement is particularly meaningful. As part of the wider Personal Group family, we see firsthand the focus placed on pay and reward, employee wellbeing, recognition and leadership across the organisation and the impact this has on colleagues throughout the business.

The colleague feedback behind the award paints a strong picture of an engaged and supportive culture, with Personal Group achieving:

  • 85% overall engagement

  • 86% job satisfaction

  • 85% wellbeing score

  • 88% trust in management and colleagues to make decisions

The results also highlighted a strong sense of pride and belonging across the business, with almost nine in ten employees saying they feel proud to work for Personal Group, while 92% said they have a good relationship with their manager and feel safe in their working environment.

The survey further reinforced the importance of reward, recognition and support in shaping employee experience. More than eight in ten colleagues said they feel recognised when they do something well, fairly paid and equipped with the tools and training needed to succeed in their role.

Paula Constant, CEO, Personal Group said:

“What makes this recognition so special is that it reflects how our people genuinely feel about working here.

“The fact that so many colleagues say they feel proud to work for Personal Group, trusted to make decisions and supported by their managers tells us we’re building the kind of culture we want - one where people can do great work and feel valued while doing it.

“We spend a lot of time talking to employers about the importance of looking after their people, so it’s important that we hold ourselves to the same standard. This award shows the difference great benefits, strong leadership and a culture built around people can have, both for employees and for the wider success of the business.”

The recognition reflects continued investment in employee experience across wellbeing, DEI, career development, recognition and employee voice initiatives led by the group’s People team.

Jenny Hinde, Chief People Officer, Personal Group added:

“This is a proud moment for the Group and for everyone who has helped shape the culture we have today."

“Creating a great workplace is something you keep working at. We continue to listen to our people, evolve our approach and invest in what matters most to them.

“Our aim is simple: to make sure Personal Group remains a place where talented people can thrive, develop and feel connected to a shared purpose.”

As businesses continue to focus on retention, engagement and performance, the recognition also reinforces the importance of creating workplace cultures where people feel valued, supported and connected - something both Personal Group and Innecto help organisations achieve every day through employee engagement, reward and recognition, pay and benefits strategies.
