Spring Webinar Series: How the Covid-19 crisis is changing the perception of which roles are more important in society: should we be paying our keyworkers more?

Webinars

13 May 2020

The focus of our second Spring Webinar follows on from one of our recent blogs that examined the value of roles – particularly those performed by people now recognised as ‘key workers’, especially in the NHS.

Many of these roles have been undervalued in society for a long time, but why? There are calls coming from all segments in society to move beyond clapping and badges to change the pay and conditions for these roles after the crisis abates, but what can we practically do about it?
