Institute of Physics: Executive pay within the science community
The Institute of Physics (IOP) is a leading, not-for-profit scientific society promoting physics, with a wholly-owned commercial publishing arm. The Remuneration Committee commissioned Innecto to conduct an independent review of reward. The aim was to benchmark the salary and bonus levels for the CEO and nine executive directors and to review bonus arrangements for the group and publishing directors to ensure a strong alignment with performance.
Innecto's ability to understand complex and unique organisations along with a good understanding of the different data sources and surveys was the key to the success of this project.
